Grant Programs

The FRAQMD offers several grant programs to reduce emissions in Yuba and Sutter counties. Please select one of the following programs to learn more.

The FRAQMD also maintains a list of grants offerred by external agencies that might be of interest to Yuba and Sutter counties residents. These grants are not administered by the FRAQMD and all questions should be directed towards the applicable agency.

Funding Agricultural Replacement Measures for Emission Reductions (FARMER) Program

The FARMER Program is now closed. The District did not receive FARMER funding for FY23/24 and the District will be accepting FARMER elligible projects using the District's Carl Moyer Program. Community Air Protection Incentive Funds

The Community Air Protection Incentive Program is accepting applications until 5 pm on Monday, October 21, 2024.

Woodstove and Fireplace Insert Grants

Starting February 20, 2024, the Woodsmoke Reduction Grant Program will begin accepting applications.

Blue Sky Grant Program

The Blue Sky Grant Program is accepting applications until 5pm on Monday, October 21, 2024.

Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program

The Feather River Air Quality Management District estimates it will have up to $646,000 available for Carl Moyer Program eligible projects operating in Yuba and Sutter counties. Applications will be available for download starting January 17, 2025, at the District’s website www.fraqmd.org or can be picked up at the District office.
